Cliff began in the financial services industry in 2009, working at the family practice, The Steele Group as a financial planner. After working in parentship with his father for 7 years he became the majority partner in the firm.
Cliff has a Bachelor of Mathematics majoring in combinatorics and optimization from the University of Waterloo and the Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning from Wilfrid Laurier University.
He obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2010 and most recently he added the Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS®) designation in 2020. As an advisor with many years of experience in the industry and education, Cliff is able to prepare quantitative analysis’ and reporting for our group benefits and pension clients. This analysis helps us to deliver superior support around benefit renewals and claims trending.
In addition to group benefit and pension clients, Cliff assists individuals and families in understanding the complexities of personal finance by providing one-on-one financial advice around investments, tax planning, risk management, estate planning by creating comprehensive financial plans.
